Apart of cooking and eating, chefs are subject to various competition which aims to improved their culinary skills. 'Learning' the arts' through culinary exposure and sharing thoughts are common during any intellectual discourse among the chef.
In many competitions, young chefs will be assigned to a mentoring chef, where, the young chefs will go through an experience which worth a lifetime.
Winning a contest is always on the upper minds, but the experience and exposure are more valuable while building a career as a chef.
